FENTON -- A Lake Fenton High School student has died after experiencing flu like symptoms. School employee's say the student is a 9th grade and became ill over winter break.

Since the student was not sick on school property neighbors with family in the school district say there is no need to worry.

"It is a terrible thing but at least it isn't going to effect the kids in school," said Fenton resident Gerald Brady.

While the student passed away after experiencing flu like symptoms, his exact cause of death is still being investigated.
