SAGINAW -- A former Saginaw High School, University of Michigan Alum and Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker back home in Saginaw today to help families prepare for the Thanksgiving holiday.

LaMarr Woodley in town for the fifth annual Lamaar Woodley Foundation Thanksgiving giveaway.

Five-hundred gift baskets with household supplies and basic-need items were handed out to families....

Giving back to them helping them save some money is just one of the biggest things is to save some money,” said Steelers linebacker LaMarr Woodley.

Among the items distributed were paper plates, cups, silverware, soaps and toiletries.
