Check out the latest weather forecast for Mid-Michigan, Flint, Saginaw, Bay City, Midland from NBC25 Meteorologist Jason Adams.

Cold, arctic westerly winds over the warmer waters of Lake Michigan will continue to kick off scattered snow showers throughout the day.  Some spots could see a quick inch or two with heavier snow showers that develop.  Another arctic front will slip into the area tonight, bringing the coldest air of the season, and the coldest temperatures we've seen since 2009.  Wind chills will be dangerously low, with some dropping to -15º Tuesday morning.  Be safe, and make sure you are covered head to toe if you have to be outside for an extended period of time.  Frostbite can set in within minutes with temperatures so cold.
