ISABELLA COUNTY -- The Sheriff's Department says they located 19-year-old Juan Romero, III, Thursday morning around six. Officials say Romero was at his mother's residence in Chippewa Township. Mr. Romero stated he had been at his mother's residence for a couple of days.
He is currently being held at the Isabella County Jail on an arrest warrant for assault. The Isabella County Sheriff had been looking for Romero since Friday night after they say he assaulted a worker at his group home located at 9080 East Pleasant Valley Road in Sheperd.
The sheriff's office had described him as a vulnerable adult who suffered from several mental disorders.
