CADILLAC, MI. (AP) -- A man with a dozen drunken-driving convictions has been arrested on the same charge after leading police on a short car chase. Michigan State Police tell The Grand Rapids Press the man also faces his eighth driving without a license charge.
Police tried to stop the man's pickup truck early Monday in Cadillac, about 90 miles north of Grand Rapids, after a gas station clerk reported he was driving while intoxicated. The motorist eventually pulled into a parking lot, striking a police car.
