GRAND RAPIDS (AP) -- A Grand Rapids nursing home says an elderly patient hit a nurse with a hammer.
Heartland Health Care Center says the attack happened Sunday. The nurse was not seriously injured.
The resident was arrested and is expected to be charged. Spokeswoman Julie Beckert tells WOOD-TV in a statement the resident will not return to the center.
