The search continues for the gunman who shot a mother and her son in the 1400 block of Mabel in Flint early Sunday morning.
The 17 year old son died at the scene from his wounds. Rescue crews rushed his mother to the hospital where she is in critical condition.
Neighbors tell NBC 25 they thought they heard gunshots, but felt uncertain as the sounds came in the middle of an intense thunderstorm.
Police say it doesn’t appear to be a domestic incident. No motive is being released at this time.
