The winter weather is finally here, bringing dangerous road conditions with it.
Friday morning, on Dixie Highway, north of Burt Road in Birch Run Township, a driver was on her way to work at the Prime Outlets, when she hit a patch of ice.
She skidded off the road and another vehicle hit her.
The driver's father, Gary Webster of Mt. Morris went to the scene, he says "It was so slick, she couldn't turn, so she kept going and she got up in here and spun out on the shoulder and the other vehicle, same thing, because there's even another car up front of her that spun out."
One of the drivers was taken away by ambulance, there were no other serious injuries reported.
A police cruiser also had minor damage when another driver lost control and clipped it.
