STANDISH -- Tusday, March 16, Michigan Works is sponsoring an event to give hope and direction to local job seekers.
A mixture of local employers, training providers and community service agencies will be attending the Opportunity Expo: take charge of your FUTURE at the Standish Knights of Columbus Hall from 9am - 1pm. This is free and open to the public.
Michigan Works will also have workshops on "Green jobs coming to Michigan", "Weathering your financial storm: what bills to pay first while avoiding foreclosure," "How to start your own business" and "Resume Critiques"
