SAGINAW -- A Mid-Michigan rescue mission is in need of help.

The Saginaw Rescue Mission says in the last two weeks, the shelter has received an over-flow of men looking for a place to stay and a meal to eat.

While the shelter’s policy is to never turn anyone away, the shelter only holds 30 beds. In the last couple weeks they've had up to 36 men stay the night, forcing them to put mattresses on the ground.

The shelter is now in need of money and food donations to help these people in need. Anyone who can donate is asked to call them at 989-752-6051.
