Is your family getting enough exercise?
Most aren't because of increased hours in front of TVs and computers.
Children need 60 minutes a day. Any less can lead to health problems like diabetes, heart disease or obesity.
Since the weather has warmed up, there's no excuse for not getting outside and making exercise a team effort.
You can keep it simple: Play tag, kick a soccer ball or take a walk around the neighborhood.
Outdoor chores are a great way to spiff things up and exercising engages kids in yard work. So, pick up some leaves or plant flowers.
Go ahead, get silly. When was the last time you chased soap bubbles or used the hula hoop.
It doesn't matter what you choose. You'll all keep a healthier weight, build stronger muscles and joints and sleep better.
