The Ingham County prosecutor decides not to press charges against those responsible for burning a Qur'an in East Lansing on September 11th this year.

Remnants were found of the Qur'an outside a mosque. The pages were torn with feces spread on them.

The Ingham County prosecutor Stuart Dunnings III says "...I have decided that there is no criminal offense that I can charge under Michigan law."

The Islamic Society of Greater Lansing says, "While this individual may not have broken any Michigan law, he has caused tremendous grief to a lot of people both locally and beyond our community."
