MT. PLEASANT -- A Mount Pleasant man is accused of murdering his sister just days after he got out of prison.
The Bay City Times reports Daniel L. Fuller, 30, was indicted by a Grand Jury in Bay City for second degree murder.
In July 2010, Iva J. Fuller, 25, was strangled to death at the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Reservation. The Morning Sun Newspaper says her body was found in a field near Mount Pleasant.
Because the suspect is Native American, the case is being handled in federal court.
Prison records show that Fuller had served three years in prison for assaulting a police officer, and a five year sentence for escaping prison.
