Some say Abercrombie & Fitch is pushing the limits with a “padded” bikini top designed for girls ages 8 to 14.
The “Ashley” bikini was released on the company’s children's website.
The triangle top has sparked controversy.
Gail Dines, a feminist and anti-pornography activist, says the product is disturbing. In an CNN report, Dines states, "it (also) sends out really bad signals to adult men about young girls being appropriate sexual objects."
Abercrombie has since removed the word “push up” from the clothing store’s website when describing the product.
How do you feel about the push-up bikini tops for young girls? What age is appropriate for such a product? Leave us your comments below.
