FLINT -- Flint's School Board approves 23 more layoffs.
School officials say 15 administrators and eight teachers will be handed pink slips.
The decision was made Wednesday during a special meeting of the board of education.
This comes on the heels of more than 300 other teachers being laid off about two weeks.
The superintendent says cuts need to be made to trim a projected budget shortfall of more than 25 million.
Flint school officials say their budget shortfall is due to proposed cuts in state education funding.
