NBC25 is proud to sponsor the 26th Annual Midland Community Center's Dow Run Walk this Saturday.
Race participants will receive a shirt, water bottle, and backpack full of goodies.
Last year's race drew around 3,000 participants.
Race directors say this year's event is on pace to draw more than that.
Dow Chemical Employees Credit Union is sponsoring a one mile race to get kids active.
Wellness Events Coordinator Jennifer Adamcik says, "The kids ages five to 14 can run for free. This is really a way to get them excited about it. We have a mileage club. They have been tracking the miles and trying to do 26.2 miles ending with race day."
