Chrysler has outsold Toyota in auto sales.
According to the USA Today, in August, the Detroit-based automaker barely drove past Toyota’s auto sales by just over 600 vehicles. The report says Chrysler had to increase by 30.6% in order to get to beat Toyota.
CNBC credits the race ahead due to Jeep sales, which were up 58% from the same month last year. The news outlet also believes that CEO Sergio Marchionne’s leadership has sped the automaker in the right direction.
