FLINT -- It was another fierce weekend for Flint Firefighters.

The Associated Press reports five vacant buildings went up in flames in just four hours Saturday night.  Two of those fires were at commercial buildings, and the others were abandoned homes.  The fires occurred in the area of North Franklin Avenue and Davison Road.

The Flint Journal reports one person suffered minor injuries during the fire on Davison road.

The Flint Fire Department is continuing to investigate these fires and the many arsons that have blazed across the city this summer. If you have any information on any of these crimes or see any suspicious activity in your area, please contact them at (810) 762-7336.

What do you think it will take to put an end to the arsons in Flint? Give us your ideas below.
