The “Occupy” movement is taking place in yet another Mid-Michigan city.
Wednesday, a group of Saginaw Valley State University students plan to brave the rainfall and march from the school’s campus to the Bank of America in Kochville Township.
Another, “occupy” event is planned to take place Friday in Saginaw in front of the Courthouse.
The movement has swept across the nation. A handful of tents are still camped outside the Bank of America in Flint where protestors have been gathering since Friday, October 14th.
NBC25 has spoken with members of this movement from both Flint and Saginaw. Each say their goal is to bring awareness to the need for jobs in America and to put an end to “corporate greed.”
However, opponents to the movement say that it would be difficult to meet the group’s vague demands.
