Ben Wallace has pleaded guilty to drunk driving and firearm charges

DETROIT -- Detroit Piston Ben Wallace has pleaded guilty to drunk driving and firearm charges.
The Associated Press reports the star faces a maximum penalty of 93 days in jail for the misdemeanor charges of “operating a vehicle while intoxicated” and “possessing a firearm while under the influence of alcohol.”
WDIV-TV reports Wallace was pulled over in Bloomfield Township around 3:00 a.m. one day in late September. Police gave him a breathalyzer test that indicated he was over the legal limit. Police searched his vehicle and then found a handgun.
Wallace's sentencing is scheduled for December 13th.
