A new study shows shoveling snow can increase the risk for heart problems.
Researchers in Canada studied the medical records of patients who went to the emergency room with heart symptoms over two winter seasons.
They found 7% were shoveling snow when they started having problems.
They say the number could be much higher because some patients may not have told doctors what they were doing when the symptoms began.
Men, people with a family history of heart disease, and smokers had the highest risk for heart problems while shoveling snow.
