If you have chronic trouble falling asleep at night, it could be an indicator of other health problems.  Insomnia is the most common sleep disorder among adults, but it often goes untreated.  A new study finds people with insomnia are at double the risk of developing heart failure and diabetes.

They're also five times more likely to have anxiety or depression, and seven times more likely to abuse drugs or alcohol.

Researchers say more needs to be done to diagnose and treat sleep problems early on, and doctors should routinely ask patients about any sleep issues.
