NBC News projects Mitt Romney will win Michigan's GOP primary.

Rick Santorum will come in second, but both candidates will likely pick up delegates as 30 Michigan delegates are up for grabs, to be divided up among the state's Congressional districts.

Mitt Romney was thought to be heavily favored in his home state, where his father once served as Governor, but recent polls have Rick Santorum in a virtual dead heat.  We will be updating numbers on our election ticker through the night, which you can monitor online at the NBC25 election page.
