City's water tower tagged, along with dozens of homes and cars

SWARTZ CREEK -- Three suspected vandals are under arrest after allegedly going on a destructive crime spree through Swartz Creek and Clayton Township.

Vandals used spray paint tag the Swartz Creek water tower as well as dozens of homes and vehicles.

"These people back here are good people, elderly people. They don't hurt nobody, don't do nothing," said Swartz Creek resident Dan Baldwin, who added that the people responsible should face criminal charges.

Some of the charges may include hate crimes, since some of the language used in the graffiti could be considered racist.
