KALAMAZOO (AP) -- Authorities in western Michigan say they're seeking the cause of an explosion that leveled a two-story home. They say no one was injured.

The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety says the blast happened about 12:40 a.m. Sunday. Lt. Matt Huber says his department got a report of a house fire, and responding officers heard a loud explosion.

He says the house was engulfed in flames and collapsed within minutes.

Huber says a neighboring house sustained minor damage to its siding and roof from the intense fire. Investigators are seeking clues to the cause of the blast and ask people to phone them or contact the department's confidential tips program.
