Two shootings within hours kills one

FLINT -- A woman was found dead the wheel of her car on Edwards Street near Mott around 10:30 last night. Another shooting early this morning at the police say Deborah Coleman was found dead at the wheel of her car on Edwards Street.

She’d been shot.

Theoen Broughton lives across the street from where Coleman was found and says shootings are common in the area.

“I was laying on the davenport and I heard 15 16 bullets out down the street. I was walking around another neighborhood the other day and bullets were flying,” said Broughton.

When police arrive, Broughton headed outside.

About seven hours later, gunfire broke out at the Evergreen Regencies.

Residents say a man was shot around 5:30 this morning. He was taken to a local hospital by a friend.

The Flint Police Department isn’t releasing any other information. If you have any information If you have any information about either of the shootings please call the Flint Police Department.
