GRAND BLANC -- Six-year-old Nadia Crowe is donating her books, toys and clothes to families affected by Superstorm Sandy. It's part of a drive she started, Nadia's Love, after watching storm coverage on the news.
"She's a very emotional little girl. She's always been very heartfelt and interested in helping people," Nadia's mother, Maureen Devroy, said.
Nadia and her sister Viola have already collected canned goods, and are asking for donations from the public via Facebook.
They are collecting and shipping donations until December 31. Items will be distrisbuted across the Northeast.
