Firearm deer season opens with a bang

MID-MICHIGAN -- Thursday morning marks the start of firearm deer season and hunters all across Mid-Michigan are gearing up, literally, to head into the woods.

NBC25's Mike Horne caught up with outdoor enthusiasts as they prepared for a "hunting holiday".
