MID-MICHIGAN -- Three Frankenmuth High School cheerleaders will be representing their school in the Spirit of America Cheer Performance Team, in this years Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. It's on NBC 25 on Thanksgiving morning, starting at 9 am. 

Abby Engel, Audrey Gray and Abbey Leach were invited to participate in the Spirit of Americas cheer camp at Michigan State University, this past July. 

Hundreds of girls from around the country will participate. Participants will enjoy a week in New York City, beginning on Saturday and ending the day after Thanksgiving.  

The Frankenmuth Girls, along with the entire Varsity Spirit Cheer team will open the parade with their routine at 9am and then join the parade line up to escort Santa at the closing of the parade.   

If you'd like to help New York City Hurricane Victims, you are invited to drop gift cards off to the Frankenmuth High School office by today and the girls will deliver them along with their donations to the people of New York, via the Spread the Spirit program.
