Firefighters battled this blaze located on Franklin and Illinois in Flint
FLINT -- Flint firefighters were kept busy last night, responded to two fires within an hour of each other.
The first fire was located on the 2400 block of Winifred.
Firefighters say they responded to the abandoned house fire at about 1 a.m.
Then a second call came in before 2 a.m. sending the firefighters to a second fire just 5 blocks away on the corner of Franklin and Illinois.
The fire engulfed the vacant office building.
Firefighters are not saying there is a connection between the two fires.
