FLINT TWP. -- TheFlint Carman-Ainsworth Lady Cavalier basketball team won their first game of 2012-13, beating Swartz Creek 58-34.

The Lady Cavs (1-1) used a 10-1 run in the first quarter to jump ahead of the Lady Dragons (0-2) and never looked back.

Carman-Ainsworth heads to Hartland on December 4 while Swartz Creek will host Ortonville-Brandon December 3.
