FLINT -- Throughout Genesee County, National Signing Day saw dozens of athletes make their college commitments Wednesday afternoon.

At Carman-Ainsworth, seven athletes from three sports signed letters of intent to seven different schools, including top running back recruit Gerald Holmes, Jr. The senior is heading to Michigan State while defensive back Alton Yarbarough signed with Ferris State.

 

Eight students from three sports signed with seven different schools. Football players Derek Trecha and Prescott Myers will continue their careers in Midland at Northwood University.
