Reports say that a dispute over loud music lead to an early morning stabbing in Bay City.

Police have arrested a 29-year-old Bay City man for reportedly stabbing another man in the chest with a knife. The incident happened around 4am on Thursday morning at an apartment complex in the 700 block of Grant on the city’s east side.

Witnesses identified the suspect to police as he was attempting to leave the location. They told police that the suspect argued with the victim over loud music coming from his apartment. That confrontation became physical and resulted in the stabbing.

Police report that the injury is not life threatening.
