Heart to heart balloon drop

A Valentine’s Day gift to brighten anyone’s day, Friday was the annual “Heart to Heart Balloon Drop” at Hurley Medical Center’s Pediatric Unit.
Nearly 600 balloons were delivered to patients Friday afternoon. The balloons were donated by Kroger employees, shoppers and volunteers. This is the fifth annual Balloon Drop, and Kroger staff members say that even despite the economy they still plan on delivering a little love to the patients for years to come.
