Clio Fire Chief Gary Domerese says Saginaw Road will remain closed between Tobias and Wilson streets until sometime mid-day Thursday.  This as the investigation continues into what caused the White Oil Company storage facility fire in Vienna Township Tuesday night.

Firefighters remained on the scene through the day Wednesday fighting hot spots.  They plan to get inside and start investigating the cause Thursday.  A Michigan State Police fire marshal will be assisting in the investigation.

Emergency crews evacuated about 1000 residents around the fuel facility Tuesday night.  Folks are now allowed back in their homes.

Environmental Protection Agency inspectors took air samples around the scene and say there are currently no health risks associated with the fire.  They found some oil did spill into a nearby ditch.  They will be working to contain and clean it up.
