It's back to school time. That's why the Salvation Army of Saginaw County hosted a clothing swap Thursday.

It's the first year of the event. People dropped off gently used clothing to exchange them for other clothing they need. It's an interesting way of shopping for new clothes.

On Saturday, those who donated can go back to the Salvation Army and pick out new clothes for their children.

It's quite a cost savings.

Major Wayne Ruston says, "If you can save $20 or $30, it can go to gas or food or whatever, you're just ahead that much."

The new clothing can be picked up Saturday from 9AM to noon.

Those who didn't drop off clothing can still pick up clothing from 11AM to noon Saturday.
