UM-Flint signs deals with China, Romania schools

(AP) -- The University of Michigan-Flint says it has signed cooperation agreements with universities in China and Romania. The Michigan school says its new agreement with China's Ningbo Institute of Technology will send faculty and students between the two schools.

The institute is a regional campus of Zhejiang University and has about 10,000 students in six schools. Michigan-Flint's management school has signed a partnership deal with Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies, a 46,000-student institution in Romania.

The University of Michigan-Flint has about 7,200 students.
