OWOSSO -- A judge has ordered Harlan James Drake to take a psychiatric evaluation. 

35th Circuit Court Judge Gerald Lostracco has appointed attorneys Robert Ashley and Justin English of Ashley and Zaleski, P.C. to represent Drake.

66th District Court Judge Terrance P. Dignan ordered Drake to undergo a psychiatric evaluation at the Center for Forensic Psychiatry in Ypsilanti.

The preliminary, which was scheduled for September 25th, has been postponed pending the outcome of the psychiatric evaluation.

Drake remains at the Shiawassee County Jail.
