Hazardous, electronic waste collection Saturday in Flint

City of Flint residents are encouraged to get rid of their household hazardous waste and electronic waste this Saturday.
The event is being coordinated by the Household Hazardous Waste Consortium of Genesee County including the City of Flint.
Collections will be accepted from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at three locations:
-- Flint East-Water Service Center (Household Hazardous Waste Only), 3310 East Court St.
-- Goodwill Industries (Electronic Waste Only), 510 South Averill Ave.
-- Carman-Ainsworth High School (Household Hazardous Waste and Electronic Waste), G-1300 N. Linden Road,

Aerosol Cans
Antifreeze
Fluorescent light bulbs (compact and tube)
Batteries (household and car)
Gasoline
Household Pesticides
Herbicides, Fertilizers
Mercury
Used oil
Oil-based paint
Old prescriptions
Paint thinners
Tires – up to 7
*No tractor or semi tires and they must be off the rim.
