(AP) -- ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. (AP) - An Oakland County mother could be arraigned this week on drug charges after her 19-year-old daughter told police she was growing marijuana in their living room. Sheriff's deputies say they found a six-foot-tall marijuana plant about 4 p.m. Sunday in the Rochester Hills home about 20 miles north of Detroit.
Dried marijuana, a digital scale, packaging material, marijuana grinder and marijuana pipes were found in the basement. A shotgun and two handguns also were confiscated. The 40-year-old homeowner was questioned but not arrested. Authorities say the marijuana will be analyzed and the case presented to the prosecutor's office for review.
It was not immediately known if the mother had an attorney.
