ISABELLA CO. -- A 33 year old Isabella County woman is in police custody after breaking into a home, and then threatening the homeowner with a knife.

The Isabella County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call at 11:19 Tuesday afternoon, regarding a subject with a knife.  Upon arrival, deputies took a suspect into custody and recovered a 5 inch double bladed knife.

The woman allegedly forced her way into the home.  A fight took place and the knife was pulled.  The homeowner was able to disarm the suspect. 

One Broomfield Township woman received minor cuts to her hand. 

The suspect was taken into custody and is currently lodged in the Isabella County Jail pending a warrant being issued.
