FLINT -- Thousands of turkeys and all the fixings were given away today at the Riverside Tabernacle Church in Flint. 

Turkeys, fresh baked goods from Panera Bread in Grand Blanc, and trimmings for a Thanksgiving feast were handed out to those in need Tuesday morning. 

Each year Riverside Tabernacle and Panera Bread host a give-away.  Last year they gave 812 baskets away, this year they gave about 1,000 full turkey dinners away.

The church says all of the food is donated by people of the community, and volunteers spend the day passing out the food to those in need.
