The weekend after Thanksgiving kicks off Christmas tree season, and boosts Michigan businesses. 

The Michigan Christmas Tree Association says more than 1.5 million Christmas trees are harvested in the state. 

Folks at Runyan's Country Tree Farm on Webster Road in Clio say folks should take advantage of local tree farms and create a family tradition. 

The farm is offering hay rides, sleigh rides, and more to folks who come out to pick out their perfect tree for the holidays.
