FLINT -- Genesee County is warning counterfeit $50 bills are circulating in the Flint area.

The Greater Flint Financial Security Officers Association reports hundreds of fake bills have been passed in and around Flint.

Officials are asking anyone who encounters one of these forgeries to contact the police immediately.
