FRANKENMUTH -- Linda Lee has been playing the accordion at the Bavarian Inn for 20 years.
But for sixty years, the festive music, great food and guest have been part of an annual tradition that many families look forward to.
“When my mother was alive we brought her and my aunt down here and after they passed away, my sister and here two daughters joined us, and this year my brother and his wife,” said guest Phyllis McDonald.
Dorothy Zehnder, owner of the Bavarian Inn says Christmas is a time that many come to make memories.
“It's tradition that we come into work and of course we see a lot of guest; but we see a lot of families that have been coming for years and years,” said Mrs. Zehnder.
“I was born and raised in Frankenmuth and it doesn't seem like Christmas without being here,” said Mrs. McDonald.
While it’s best that guest make reservations before hand, the Zehnder family says there is always room at the Bavarian Inn.
“Were quite prepared for them and some of them come year after year; and we are very thankful for that and we are really wanting to wish them a very Merry Christmas today,” said General Manager Karen Zehnder.
