(AP) -- LANSING, Mich. - Gov. Jennifer Granholm has scheduled her final State of the State address for Feb. 3 at the Michigan Capitol.
The Democratic governor will give the annual speech before a joint session of the state House and Senate. The speech typically outlines the governor's priorities for the coming year.
It will be Granholm's eighth and final State of the State address. She can't run for governor again in 2010 because of Michigan's term limits law.
The speech will be carried on Michigan Government Television along with some commercial and public television and radio stations.
Granholm's office announced the date of the speech Wednesday.
