FENTON TWP. -- A man is dead following a car crash.

At approximately 7:42 p.m. Monday, 25 year old Nicholas Kowalewski and his 23 year old passenger, Scott Medor, were driving down the 14000 block of North Rd. in Fenton Twp near the Hall Chrysler Jeep Dodge dealership.  Kowalewski lost control of the vehicle near the Hall Dealership, slid across the road, and crashed into a tree. 

Medor was taken to the hospital where he later died. Kowalewski is in stable condition. 

Sheriff Robert Pickell tells NBC25 the inclement weather may have caused the crash.  He also believes alcohol and speed may be factors in the deadly accident.
