Vassar H.S goes on lockdown

VASSAR -- Vassar High School went on lockdown around 7:35 Thursday morning. School officials report the lockdown alert has been lifted, and things are currently under control.
Police report a Vassar High School student threatened to commit suicide. The student never went to the school, but the school was placed on "code red" to ensure the safety of the other students. The students was located in Frankenmuth and has been taken into police custody. Police are not releasing the student's name.
