Contract negotiations continue Thursday between Genesys Regional Medical Center and Teamsters Local 332.

The union represents around 300 employees there.

NBC25 spoke with the local teamsters president Wednesday night, and she told NBC25 the union and Genesys are "worlds apart" in the bargaining process.

She says she does not expect a contract by midnight Wednesday based on how slowly the negotiations are moving.

When asked what will happen if a contract isn't reached tonight at midnight the union is uncertain.

A strike notice is one of the options.
