(AP) -- As Michigan State's basketball team heads to its sixth NCAA Final Four in 12 seasons, part-time sellers of Spartans merchandise are facing a zone defense of sorts. Acting on complaints from business owners, East Lansing is enforcing a section of the city zoning ordinance that doesn't allow peddler's licenses in areas zoned for commercial and office use.

That means Uriah Musial can't sell hats, T-shirts and other Final Four souvenirs from his customary spots outside a 7-Eleven, a gas station or the busy corner of Trowbridge and Harrison roads. Musial, who works for Garden City-based Action Sportswear Inc., says he's peddled Spartans merchandise since the team's 1999 Final

Four appearance. He says he's concerned because customers expect to see him at his usual locations, and he's looking for legal locations.
